主讲人简介：齐远伟，University of Central Florida终身教授。1982年本科毕业于北京大学数学系，1985年在中科院获得硕士学位，1990年在牛津大学取得博士学位，曾先后在香港科技大学、UC Santa Barbarra任教，是国际上具有影响力的偏微分方程方向的专家，自1994年以来曾多次在牛津大学、British Columbia大学、中国科学院、北京大学、清华大学等学校和科研单位进行学术交流。
讲座简介：
In this work a reaction-diffusion system modelling tumor invasion is investigated.The model is proposed by renowned biologist and cancer expert Gatenby and his collaborator.The underlying partial differential equation system has cross-diffusion and density-dependent degenerate diffusion coefficient.
We prove the existence and smoothness of the Initial-Boundary Value problem with no-flux boundary condition.More importantly,a rigorous proof of existence of traveling wave solution is proved,providing valuable insight to the dynamics of cancer invasion.
